Rules for Participation:
Earn points by capturing the mothers of other participants.
A capture consists of immobilizing, blindfolding, and relocating a mother to a predetermined scoring location. The victim must, however, remain conscious at all times.
During the time of captivity, the captive mothers must be provided for in every way usually considered a human right, such as:
A capture must also refrain from harming the victim in any way until their release at either A: the end of the championship, or B: when the captor’s team is eliminated.
A capture can be prevented using any level of force excluding deadly force.
The use of deadly force will be punished by confiscating life from the team at fault.
Accidental use of deadly force will be forgiven for all teams with cute pets.
If the mother of your familial unit is captured, you will be eliminated from the competition.
No prior involvement in the championship is required for the mother of your familial unit to be captured. Law enforcement will remain uninvolved during the event.
Elimination prevents you from being able to interact with other participants in any way that would either aid or impede the efforts of other teams.
Failure to comply with previous rule will require the governing board to confiscate all game-related assets in the possession of your familial unit, including but not limited to:
Negotiation for the return of the assets can be discussed with the governing board in the following week after the conclusion of the event.
Dates for the event run from Mother’s Day (starting at dawn, according to weather.com) and ends once one team has successfully captured all mothers across the state of Colorado.
In the event of a stalemate, the event will end and restart in exactly one year.
